I come to You and lay my fears at Your feet. Why am I so afraid people will see who I really am? If they really knew… I think to myself, keeping my self-doubt hidden behind my insecure mask. I worry my words—my life experiences—are not worthy of what You have called me to do, Lord. Why would anyone listen to me?
You gently stop me from my thoughts and I hear Your Spirit remind me that it is never my own personal strength that earns me a place in Your divine plan. You choose my role and then equip me with Your Spirit to bring it to pass. My work is in believing You to be who You say You are and trust You will accomplish through me whatever You have called me to do. I am ready!
